    what LITERARY WORKS have you read full in french?

    i've only read candide, the little prince, and the law by frederic bastiat. read maybe 25% of the social contract.

    also im surprised how much easier it is to read newpaper articles etc than works of literature. which i guess sounds obvious but being a native english speaker i just never noticed! i read lemonde.fr every day and at this point can basically read any article perfectly fine without resorting to wiktionary.

    candide, a few emile zola novels. shall we have a pd french society where we read something in french and discuss it and exclude everyone else?
