I was under the impression that an anti-theist was someone who actively pushed people away from deity beliefs and would make arguments about why gods aren't real while atheists were people who just decided not to believe in a supreme being.

Though, definitions are funny sometimes. "Pagan" originally meant "of the countryside/villager" and it morphed into "someone who believe in multiple gods" just because Christianity took off in cities first and many village people were just isolated enough to keep their old traditions.

i still think the fact that the word 'atheism' was originally formed and coined by using the terms 'without' and 'god' is relevant to its meaning

    relevant:
-having significant and demonstrable bearing on the matter at hand
-affording evidence tending to prove or disprove the matter at issue or under discussion

Nope, if it has no importance in a matter at hand discussing atheism, its origin is not relevant. At best it is trivial.

I guess so, you can't put anything on the internet that isn't true.

    Lol.

Also, you could logically say the right phrase is "Case and point", Tim.

I have made/won the case and also the point (because the point I made won the case for me). Something like that.

BUT, I think it should vary with the situation i.e if you are providing an example of something, it should be "Case in point" (This point talks about this case/ example) and if you're just saying it to conclude an argument proving that you're right, it should be "Case and point".

    Either way could be right.
