    Default cooking

i've developed an absolute obsession recently. i literally don't sleep at night unless i've cooked something substantial.

at the moment i'm trying to perfect this thing called vegetable shahjahani, which is curry made with a cashew/coconut/cardamom paste, vegetable stock etc. i am accosting landlords of pubs on how to make a perfect curry and everything.

    discuss YOUR curry experiences

    Well, that's good.

I wouldn't like it though- I tend not to like cashews and coconut in food.

but basically 'curry' usually refers to an indian dish adapted for british people, and they're usually not real indian dishes. indian restaurants here usually deliberately don't make authentic dishes. a white man at a local pub makes more authentic indian food than the indian restaurant down the road

I can fry/boil eggs. And heat up/ boil/ cook prepackaged or "instant" food. I can chop vegetables...

That's as much as I've ever done in the kitchen.
