whatchu up to
whats up is shorthand for what are you up to so i basically said the same thing in the title and post. interesting.
Looking into the quietest place in the world. You?
coming to the stark and somewhat depressing conclusion that the internet just isnt as interesting to me anymore
Life will soon be in that category as well. One day you'll just find yourself reading articles about ambergris and anechoic chambers and wonder where you went wrong with everything.
Old Man Dogar disillusions young Rayne while melodramatically reflecting upon the sad state of his affairs.
Just do it.
I find the more social experience I have, the less interesting PD is. As you can tell, August is a lonely month
Well, I open my eyes and I see things. I've seen spirits moving through the walls. I've seen a vortex coming through the wall. I've seen amorphous little balls of light bouncing all around in the front yard through the window. I've seen giant bugs on the floor. I was in a hotel room in Amarillo, Texas, and all I remember is standing on the bed and seeing the whole wall in front of me filled with lights that were [makes popping sound] popping like popcorn out of the wall. Then I'll wake up and I go "Wow, I was standing on my bed and staring at this wall."
idk, i've enjoyed the internet even at times when i've had a relatively active and enjoyable real life. i think it's just that things feel less interesting when they ARE less interesting, which has a lot to do with how the corporatization of the internet has sort of sterilized things and rounded more people up into big social networking sites rather than multiple smaller forums which is by nature less fun.
MAYBE PEOPLE'S PREFERENCES TOWARDS SOCIAL INTERACTION AND INTERNET USAGE CHANGE BETWEEN INDIVIDUALS AND OVER TIME
I have noticed that I went from an average of seven or eight sites a day to three or four.
One of those sites being Reddit, and I've forgotten how I've ever spent time web surfing years ago. It used to be I could press those affiliate buttons forever and continually find new sites, but now the only time I go to new sites is if I'm googling something and need an answer from the page because Google's text was no specific enough.
i've only just gotten into reddit
reddit is like a glorified rss feed. i love it and it's my sole source of information these days. that would sound like a bad thing if reddit wasn't a huge news portal. but it is so fuck yeah.
also the comment threads can be pretty informative and/or hilarious which is a plus if you're looking to kill time.
i just lurk and read comments all day
There was one time I spent two hours scrolling through an AskReddit thread.
I guess I like reading peoples' stories.
reddit isnt really for me (like twitter) but i at least understand its purpose and why it's so popular (unlike twitter).
