Mononoke Hime is a different type of Miyazaki film in that he usually keeps it in modern day settings or at least 20th century technology. I think because of this it can be off-putting to some as a generalized mythical period piece but I like it either way for the storytelling and soundtrack. Not my favorite but not unimpressive. Also, looking at the time it came out, compared to all other animation studios, it was a masterpiece.

Oh and if we are counting Castle of Cagliostro then I haven't seen that either.

    Castle In The Sky
    Howls Moving Castle
    Nausicaš
    Spirited Away
    Porco Rosso
    Princess Mononoke
    Kikis Delivery Service
    Ponyo

Well I have to rank the ones I've seen from highest to lowest (or more likely to rewatch to not)

    Princess Mononoke
    Castle of Cagliostro
    Spirited Away
    Nausicaa
    Totoro
    Castle in the Sky
    Proco Rosso
    Arrietty
    Kiki's Delivery Service
    On Your Mark
    Howl's Moving Castle
    Ponyo
    Whisper of the Heart

I've pretty much seen all of his, but not necessarily all of Ghibli's stuff. I have not yet seen Grave of the Fireflies or Pom Poko. I have seen The Cat Returns though.

GOTFF is amazing. He didn't direct it though, his buddy did. It was very moving though.

Whisper of the Heart, The Cat Returns, Arrietty and Pom Poko weren't directed by him but his studio did make them. The first two are on my top 5 of Ghibli films. On Your Mark wasn't a film, just a music video. Decent.

Yeah, I didn't know if I should even put On Your Mark on the list, but I guess it counts...?

Honestly, sometimes these movies blend so well together in terms of style that I forget who actually directs them.

Btw, if you guys are looking for a new anime movie to watch that is not by Studio Ghibli (but gives off a similar feel), watch Wolf Children. I loved it. x3

I've only seen Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, and The Secret World of Arrietty. Grave of the fireflies is awesome too, but that isn't Hayao Miyazaki is it?

I hope those ranks aren't implying that any of them are bad. D:

I haven't seen Castle of Cagliostro. But I love the rest of them.

Read a review a month ago, seemed too depressing and over thought.

Haven't seen ponyo and almost did with Pokegun years ago.

As for the list, I'm going to list them all but my top 3.

    Castle in the Sky
    Howls Moving Castle
    Whisper of the heart

The Secret World of Arrietty was also the shit. Maybe just me, but I rather enjoyed alot.
Honorable mention in the Top 3.

I didn't care much for Spirited Away. Artwork was profound but otherwise I really never got into the plot.
