1. ## that feeling

I know for a fact that this one question is going to be on my calc final tomorrow, he was on one of the tests and on Monday he basically said we are going to have this problem.

And here I am, having read most of the fucking book, and I still don't comprehend how to fucking do it.

Its how to find the equation of a plane that passes through 2 points, and is perpendicular to this other plane.

Everything I do fails.

fuck it, if I can't get it now with the book right in front of me, I sure as hell can't get it on the test

2. lol finals week

yoj\u'll get it eventually kirbx

3. the test it tomorrow at 10:00 am, nope

it doesn't matter, we have I think an option of 2 problems not to do, this will be one of them I guess

4. im the kind of person who only needs to study a couple hours before an exam and get a B+/A. same kind of deal with essays. people hate me when i talk with them about finals.

5. uh I just remembered, he is also going to have a trighyperbolic question on the test

so basically, whatever those other questions on the test are, I HAVE to do

6. well 2 vectors define a plane right. so one vector is point 1 to point 2. and if it is perpendicular to some given plane then you know a vector parallel to that plane's normal vector is going to lie in the plane you want to find. i havent done vector/plane stuff in a while and dont want to take the time to think too hard about the calculations but that should be able to get you somewhere no? vector 1 = point 1 to point 2 and vector 2 = a vector parallel to the given plane's normal vector originating from point 1.

7. yeah its the calculations that are getting me, whatever I am doing ain't working, and its not in the maths, its in the method

8. well... it might be the maths, it involved cross products and a bunch of other shit... I think

9. Drink some water, that usually helps

10. not going to help, I have literally never gotten this answer right, I got a 0 on it when we were tested on it last time

11. my notecard

12. post the actual problem

13. Here is an example of one

The place passes through the points (2,2,1) and (-1,1,-1) and is perpendicular to the plane 2x-3y+z=3. Fine the equation of the plane.

14. Guess what class I'm not registering for

15. gender studies

16. Only if it's MALE gender studies! Men 1 Women 0

18. yeah, hence I made the card

I also have one for statistics

don't worry about the question, I already took the test, it didn't have one like that (although similar)

19. How did it go?

That notecard is DENSE

20. I am feeling OK. I had to one one problem I wasn't sure if I was doing right, and I had to skip one because I kind of ran out of time / didn't know how to do 3 of them (hence 1 skipped as I could omit 2).

Overall, I am not feeling that bad though.

21. Any more finals left?

22. yeah I got statistics tommorow, and I have to email something... let me to that now actually

23. Good luck Kirbs

24. good luck kirbs... or pinkbubblegumP. what do you want us to call you on this forum?

25. lol pink bubblegum
