    Default Working for Wal-Mart

Does anyone or has anyone ever work at a Wal-Mart and knows how terrible it is to actually work for them.

its probably not all that bad really. probably much better than working fast food or something, or convenience stores.

Yeah, they do. I mostly get 2pm to 11pm shifts. Most of the employees are part-time and they give us 40+ hours with half the benefits.

If you have 40+ hours in a week you aren't part time and should contact a lawyer or union rep if you're getting only part time benegits

My mom wants to work at a Wal-Mart when she retires and moves down with my dad and grandma to Nokomis.

I'd rather work at fast food than wal-mart.

I overheard two people talking about how awful it was to work at walmart and target on the bus once.

It was mostly complaining about the people they worked with and not getting respect from their bosses.

The moment Wal-Mart hears about a petition to start a union anyone involved is fired, they even went as far as to tell us if anyone union related shows up report it to the management.

Yep, that pretty much sums it up and also how under paid you are.
