pokemon is huge its crazy it started off a small game then it became a huge company that makes new things every day or so and you spend 100's of dollars on the company. THE OLD POKEMON GAME WAS BETTER ANYONE AGREE?

its true about that but yellow version was the best since you could have all 3 of the starting pokemon wich i liked alot when i was younger
But the only way to get them was through trading, right? So, basically to get the starters for yellow, you'd need either blue or red. Waste of money.

No, you get all three starters in-game by random people in towns.
jeez, really? Let me try to remember that, it's been such a long time..
I think I can slightly remember squirtle's.. were they received in the same scenario as the first season, because I remember how ash got the three from the show.

Yeah, they kind of were. Charmander's trainer wasn't good enough for it so he gives it to you, Bulbasaur was given to you in a house where they heal sick pokemon, and Squirtle was given to you by officer jenny.
I really need to play that game again then.. I don't remember how any of that took place.
