It is true that you should use weapons to fight in robot games, but MechWarrior Tactics is a special one. It offers an opportunity to fight with NPC. I think this can improve player's attack force and bring enthusiasm to them.

typhlosian is pretty cool, i also like to keep a ampharos in my party too for its thunder punch and thunder.
oh you have much to learn mello about pokemon moves
much to learn
care to teach me XD
there are very very few situations in which dual STAB is acceptable on a pokemon, generally you only want one of (each) stab move, and that is only if the stab is actually useful (for example, poison is stab is terrible)
the only exceptions to this rule are pokemon that have open movesets for another stab as complete filler when they lack other moves or have enough power to break through nuetral pokemon, for example Terrakion or Politoed might carry stone edge and rock slide or hydropump and surf respectively, this is purely so they don't have to miss against their opponent
generally you don't want to use an attack below 80% accuracy unless you have to or if its good, willow-wisp is amazing so its acceptable, thunder and hurricane can be used in the rain and blizzard in the hail there are a few ecxeptions to this like Rotom-F and Tornadus which rely on that in accurate stab attack
finally, thunder punch is terrible because Ampharos's attack is pitifully weak, simple enough, unless you are breaking through a specific pokemon and have the move slot for it, you don't want to use an attack that isn't doesn't use the pokemon's higher attack stat
overall: use thunderbolt
my ampharos never learned thunderbolt for some reason, just thunder wave and thunder shock (and some of though lesser moves that most people delete). i dont know why, it just skiped thunderbolt and whent to thunder punch. i would have kept it though. right now my thunder punch (i made a new acount on gold) does a ko on lance garadose (whish is in the 40s) and my ampharose is a lvl 36. lance is bein an ass at the moment with me and pulled a fast one on me last night whith his hyper beam (i was so close! DX) so im just copying pokemon that are holding rare candys and just make a few to just boost their lvls a few times (im not boosting them like 10, just 3 or 4) dont want to take all the fun out.
oh this is in game gold, thunder punch isn't to terrible then, but you should still get rid of thunder
thunderbolt is a tutor move somewhere
ok then XD, i also got entei and ho-oh (but they seem to die easier than my personaly trained pokemon, even when they are a lvl 40 and most of my others are in 36)
oh Mello one of these days you will find a competitive pokemon battles
and watch as your life spirals out of control into insanity
In game battling was enough for me.
