Metroid Prime Series Praise Thread Topic Sorta Thing.
okay i like to praise stuff so [insert witty joke]. [its a GC game btw]
To start with, the graphics are amazing. At times, I literally feared for Quadraxis to come at me and rip my head off. You can almost imagine yourself in the world of Aether, killing the Ing and helping the Luminoth like you would drink milk.
The sound also matches the game perfectly, either being really creepy or active in a battle.
Then comes the gameplay. It's really great. Nothing much to remember - tilt the CStick to move, A to shoot, B to jump, X to go ball mode and Y to shoot missiles, L to lock on and to scan, and R to use the Grapple Beam. Seems complicated, but it's really easy when you grasp it.
The environment is really, really awesome. From the wasteland that is Agon Wastes to the swamp that is Torvus Bog, stands the Luminoth Sanctuary Fortress, then there's the Temple Grounds where you start off and the Great Temple. The areas are, also, very vast. You can spend hours just wandering around and getting Missile Expansions and Energy Tanks.
And there's the fun of having many powerups.
And the bosses.
