For MMOers on the boards. Chances are most of you are too busy playing them to see this, but I have nothing better to do now, so post away.

I recently got my first pay-to-play MMO, Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar.

Runescape doesn't count either. IT'S FOR FAGGOTS!

You seem to talk about it enough I have a character on my friend's account, and he spends hours on it, almost every day (he lives next door too, so I can always access it, but i haven't in a few weeks).

I had EQ2 for quite a while, but my uncle paid for that one. Rich as hell.

I'm still a newbie hunter. But hunter nonetheless. Just going to get some good items and then join a fellowship (the game's version of a guild)

MMOs rock, but (in accordance to the ones I've played) they get boring easily mainly due to the fact that the levelling gets boring and repetitive. Also the quests are annoying. Either you kill x monsters, or you find x items. Then they just put some background story like 'my brother is sick, the doctor needs x amount to make the medicine'.

Of course I'm restricted to F2Ps (conquer, scions of fate, flyff and the lot), due to the ones that catch my interest (WoW, FFXI) are not availabile in the land of sand. So if I appear ignorant, enlighten me dudes.

On another note, who's heard of Aion? Promising MMORPG with very fluent flight dynamics. My cup of tea indeed

Never heard of that one. However a friend on another forum showed me a very interesting one that already came out in some Asian country (I think Korea or China or Japan or all three) called Perfect World. It's based somewhat on chinese mythology and looks rather pwnsome.

I'll have to look up Aion then XD And it looks more than shit awesome. It looks Korean-guy-with-a-long-ass-sword-strapped-to-his-back-and-with-a-baby-shooting-gun-in-his-hands awesome.
