Okay, I was just scanning the threads, and it's all Fed-Ex, Green Day, that kind of stuff. As I am a 100% nerd, I am fully unaware of their songs and etc., only that they exist. (Hey, I know a bit about Kevin Federline, though...) haha. but it says we can talk about anything to do with music, so...anyone in a school band or play an instrument themselves?

I was until I graduated. I played the French Horn, Trumpet, and Mellophone (marching version of the French Horn, btw). I was also in the Jazz Band!! XD

i used my sisterīs flute as a peashooter, and then she used my baritone horn as a megaphone...
iīm a really musical person, i guess. lessee...(preparing to brag) I can play the piano (noooo, who doesnīt), violin, clarinet, baritone, and iīm aiming to learn percussion sooner or later. Iīm in the school band...local orchestra (which I am totally hating, at least for the recent year, reply back for details)...etc., etc. i aim for marching band and to start my own orchestra WITHOUT ANNOYING, RACIST CONDUCTORS. (hint hint)

yeah. anyways, so our orchestra has six levels: a beginning string ensemble, an intermediate string ensemble, a flute choir, a percussion ensemble, a junior orchestra, and a senior orchestra. so i just made it into the junior orchestra this year, and we always have a summer camp to introduce the music and stuff. and the conductor was really nice and funny and stuff, and one day he saw me drawing.
conductor: "wow, you're pretty good."
"thank you."
"are you japanese?"
"no. taiwanese."
"oh, you mean chinese."
"NO. Taiwanese."
and then he looked at me funny, and said, "all right."
after that he started treating me like shit. even if i didn't do anything he'd yell at me. he promoted me all the way back to the last chair violin, even though half the violins were absent, and some of the ppl in front played much worse than me. (i'm not bragging. i'm dead serious.)
our conductor is also a violin teacher, and he favors his students, who are all the same race as him. anyone who is the same race as him is treated with genuine respect and promoted to the front, etc.
i know he's racist against taiwanese because there's this girl who is also taiwanese, who he yells at frequently. he even called me by this girl's name, and I said, "Er, I'm not [girl's name]." Especially cause i'm a guy. And you know what he said?
"Oh, i'm sorry. I thought you were [girl's name.]"
it wasn't even remotely boyish, like sam or alex. yeah, the girl's pretty steamed too...
okay, i'll stop ranting, but i'm still hella pissed. at least i made it into the senior orchestra next year...except i have a good chance of getting demoted back. -_-
clarinets do pwn ^^ better than flutes.

I don't see why we should pity him. Tim is no longer an admin, and thsi fight will have no outward effect unless Waterpheonix enters the Misc.
