FireRed, LeafGreen, or what?

I'm soon done with the Ruby version, and I think it was pretty good. Now I want a new game.
I love pokemons like Charizard and Rapidash (fire type) and also all kinds of strong dragons ... Can anyone tell me about the differences in FireRed and LeafGreen? And is there any other games that you think is better? (I've got Crystal, Ruby and Sapphire)

If you have a DS get Diamond/Pearl. If not, I would suggest fire red. You can get growilthe, but if you want Ninetails, get leaf green. Fire Red(I believe)is the only one with Rapidash.

You can get Rapidash in either game. I believe the main differences are the version-specific pokemon, with nothing else. Those are;

FR = LG

Oddish = Bellsprout
Ekans = Sandshrew
Growlithe = Vulpix

I'm positive there are others, but I'm too lazy to check them atm.

No. Tentacool is in every single game. I think Psyduck are more common in FR versus Slowpoke in LG, though. Oh, and;

in firered you can get electrabuzz in the grass outside of power plant

Uh, no. You get it INSIDE the Power Plant, a bit rare though.

okay. get diamond or pearl. XDD
jk. i think you should get pearl, cause everyone gets diamond, so they don't have access to the pearl pokemon. that way, your friends will come begging to you to borrow your game.

Plus Palkia is way cooler. and after you get the national dex in pearl you can get houndoom and bagon. in diamond you can get mighyena and larvitar. there's many more different pokemon but those were what made me get pearl and like yin said everyone is going to get diamond so get perl to be diferent.
