    You know what really sets America below Britain? You consider General Studies to be an actual A-Level, when, in fact, it is a complete and utter joke. All it shows is that you have a brain and learnt things from years 1 to 9. It is not an A-Level. It is a way of giving students the chance to study something random that will never affect their lives.

    I like to read Wikipedia for my own amusement, but no, most of my knowledge comes from reading actual books. The Spanish conquistadors tidbit came from a 5th grade unit of the discovery of America. Believe me, I would not look that up on my own free time. I hate American history; it's dreadfully boring.
