As I said, I'm trying out different ways to color things. this is one method, which involves scanning in sketches on a setting that only does black and white. after inking them, and coloring them tediously on MS Paint, these are the final product. the style is discinctively CHIBI, so it's a good thing they're baby pokemon.

JOEYROO ( joey [baby Kangaroo] kangaroo)

Yeah, the flavor text is basically the KANGASKHAN text from ruby/Saphire, edited very slightly. and the graphic was done by me, but it isn't my idea. this guy is in all the KANGASKHAN graphics. I DID come up with the name though.

'Dex Entry: as its spikes grow to points, glands of poison inside of them begin secreting venom from the barbs. however, before this point, poison builds up in these glands; sometimes bruiding to sensitive areas can cause poison to leak into NIDOCs bloodstream, causing sickness.


Now here's the cool thing about this guy. previously, when you bred NIDORAN, it was always female, because the mom had to be female. but NOW, you can use NIDOQUEEN as a mother, and still end up with a NIDORAN(M). INSANE, huh? I thought so!!

DOMONO (dodo mono(singular) also sounds like DOMINO
baby bird pokemon: EVOLVES INTO DODUO.
TYPE: NORMAL

'Dex Entry: DOMONO is incapable of standing on its feet; whenever it tries, it will invariable fall over. odly enough the addition of another head in later life allows it to stand on two feet perfectly.

usually, keeping a pokemon from evolving makes it learn moves earlier, not different moves. the grammer on your pokedex entries is a little off, too.

dex entry A giant burning longsword that is extremley territorial and will fire a jet of flame and deliver extremely fast slashes to anything it sees as a threat to its territory (about every thing it sees) it sharpens on hard rocks.

Sorry, guys, I've been gone a while. but I'M BACK!!
I've got some ideas in the pipe, but until then I'll work on these ones.
a couple problems with yours, Bob, is that I can't think of a way to make a sword look alive without either attatching it to something, or making it look horribly strange. and with the fortress thing, they did something similar with Torterra.

Punsor is a good idea, but I'm having trouble invisioning him. does he have an evolution?

Meep. A couple of my random ideas.

Name: BUNII (BUNny + skIIng)
Ski pokemon
Type: ICE
Height: 10 inches.
Weight: 13 pounds.
Dex Entry: BUNII eventually evolved mini skis on their feet to help them move quickly across their snowy tundra habitat. In the summer, the skis are covered with a thin layer of fur.

Name: SKRABITT (SKi + mispelling of RABbIT[T])
Jackelope pokemon
Type: ICE/FIGHTING
Height: 4 feet, 2 inches.
Weight: 65 pounds.
Dex Entry: Some BUNII's skis grew abnormally long, and they themselves grew and stood on their hind legs to compensate. They became known as a higher, evolved form, SKRABITT. They use broken-off pieces of their unique antlers as balancers, much like a human skier's poles, and have taken to jousting with them during mating season.
