I've seen Electric Soilder Porygon and The Legend of Dratini which were subbed. Those episodes were banned in the US. I also have the rest of the first season on my computer... *goes to download second season*

The reason Electric Soilder Porygon was banned was because the flashes in the background gave over 100 Japanese children seizures.
The Legend of Dratini was banned because Ash had a revolver pointed at his face several times.
That would be Beauty and the Beach. I've seen part of the English dub, but it was horribly cut and mutilated for time. I want to see that part. Coruse they never aired it, but I have the english dubthey banned the episode where james wears fake boobs

And you know what's ironic? There are many other episodes where Ash gets a gun pointed at him.
Take the Kangaskan episode. Officer Jenny pointed a gun at Ash because she thought he was poaching.
And Team Rocket has rocket launchers in a bunch of episodes and shoot them at Pokemon. What a twisted turn of events.

When I found out about The Tower of Terror's banning, I couldn't understand that, because I specifically remembered watching an episode where Team Rocket uses some kind of bazooka-like thingy on an enormous Dragonite.

That would be "Mystery at the Lighthouse". "The Tower of Terror" was banned after 9/11 because of the title; so was "Tentacool and Tentacruel". I have the episodes on my computer to back me up.
Ya... Good times. I have the first season on my IPod, I was 6 (or 7??) too when it aired here, but I you're older because it aired very late here compared to the rest of the world (I think it was... 5/6 years ago?)

Yeah, I applaud Michael Bay for those crazy scenes in Transformers of flying robots crashing into buildings. It's been 6 years, it's fantasy, the only people who oughtta get offended are the ones who probably shouldn't be watching movies with explosions in the first place.
