personally i dont recommend MD, but hey it's still fun =D
Yeah, and depending on the gender you choose on the quiz can limit the results, like for instance if you choose to be a boy, you can't have skitty, chikorita, or eevee as a result. And if you choose to be a girl, you can't be cyndaquil, machop, or some other one I can't remember at the moment.
And the pokedex thing in that game doesn't cover Diamond or Pearl, so you can't have the fourth season pokemon appearing. I wish they make a new MD soon.

I suppose there is no method to becoming an Eevee except doing the quiz over...and over...again... *sighs*
You could look up a guide for the cheat key as to what you should answer for the quiz. For example, if you wanted to be a skitty, you would answer all questions they ask with the most hasty nature.

Sniff it first<---Timid + Female = Mudkip

really, the best two pokemon to start off with are pikachu and squirtle(or at least i think they are) and yes you can get both latias and latios along with groudon, raquaza, kyogre,the legendary birds AND the legendary dogs(don't worry i know what im talking about, i have both MD:R and MD:B)
