on an unrelated note, my family income was £10,000 - my dad was a fabrication clerk and my mum was nothing. my dad got around £10,000, £15,000 at the most. That is $20,883, by the way.
As of now, I have a yearly £16,000 income - which is higher than my father earned. I'm a journalist. That means I earn $33418 a year - and I have no source of income other than myself, so I'm probably about the 4th poorest person on this site.
