it's an ultra-rare disease that your pokemon can catch, it gives you double effort points everytime you battle. it spreads to other pokemon in your party. for a really in-depth FAQ on pokerus, go to:

but beware!! it only lasts for 24 hours, and your pokemon can only get it once. i haven't been blessed with pokerus, and i probably never will.
