2)is guiennive ash's dad

i dont care about the second one so much as the firtst 1 coz i quite like the charector of misty so if you just want to rant off about misty go make ahtread about that
i just wanna know the facts now

No, Giovanni isn't Ash's Dad, even though he went out with Delia in high school.
No, Misty isn't dead. (kinda unfortunately) If you watch some episodes in Pokemon Chronicles, you'll see that she's alive, clutching that damn Azurill.

I was reading something about the whole Giovanni is Ash's dad thing a while ago. What it said was yes, we cannot be sure, but wouldn't it be interesting if he did turn out to be? Maybe the reason he sends Team Rocket out after him is to watch his son's progress as a Trainer...? Dunno, but like I said before, I agree that it would be an interesting concept.

And yeah, Giovanni had never attempted to kill Ash himself; just Team Rocket...although when it happens they don't try to intentionally; it always ends up being an accident.

And when did Ash ever find out that his mother knew Giovanni in High School??

Maybe he was leafing through his mom's highschool yearbook? With the way Pokemon is done, you don't see much of the parent character relationships do you? They always refer to some main character as ''...blah blah this important person's grandchild...'' for the said IP's off spring, wich makes me wonder who did the old guy/lady get with? Questions questions....
