By popular demand, I am working on a Zombie RP. It's set in the present day (Because we all know that the Medieval Age is so yesterday), and involves a genetically altered virus that takes Earth by surprise and starts destroying all of humanity in a zombie like pandemic.
The best part is, it's based on a real virus...... But on steroids.
I've included the introduction as a sample of the RP to come.
Pandora’s Box - Diseased Insanity
Nobody knew that zombies could be real.
Nobody knew when the next pandemic would come.
Nobody ever guessed that a single man can bring humanity’s most deep seated horrors to life.
Yet it happened.
The ultimate pathogen. A fusion of terrible diseases and bone freezing myths, now come to life.
A disease old but new, altered by genetic engineering, now come back to haunt humanity. A virus that would bring a mind to it’s knees and destroy awareness itself, a plague that would fuel the primal brain with bloodlust and unbearable hunger, a disease that would replace personality and soul with insanity and barbarian instinct.
In short, a Caveman Strain that would bring mankind back to the Stone Age. A virus that would have humanity consume itself with their own greed and bloodlust, killing themselves and their own kind to make way for a better world.
And now it is set loose. Microscopic homicide has come out to play.
Zombies are coming alive.
People admire and respect their superiors, are repulsed and disgusted by their inferiors, and connect to their equals.
The extreme highs and lows in life get a strong reaction - Yet it the averages in life that most people connect to.
The class system is nothing more then different groups of people grouping with their fellow equals and feeling the sense of separation from their superiors and inferiors.

I don't know, with the locking of apparently inadequate RPs... I mean, there was never a rule as a facet of the RP Board that reads 'don't suck', right? As in, it was never a prerequisite to be a good RPer to be able to take part in it. And isn't it up to the individual whether to be part of an RP or not? What if someone else is interested in the RP? If no one wants to join, then that's okay. There's no real need for locking is there? I mean, the purpose of a lock is to prevent members from posting in it, and through that stopping them from joining an RP that perhaps suits their taste... is that the principle of the RP Board? I mean, we lock these threads but it contributes, well, I don't know what. It deters, for one, the writer of the RP. As well as perhaps newer members that felt that this RP would be their kind. By only allowing what we feel is at par level, we prevent others from learning through these and from enjoying RPing. Like, how can we learn without getting involved and through experience? I'm not at all directing it just at that particular thread, but as just a little thought. I mean, even if one does suck, I don't see what harm it could do. You know? Maybe there's an eager member wanting to join in with this RPing. But if they try to sign up and RP in one, like we can see with, let's say poketrainer, they are only harrassed and berated. And if they try to create their own, it just ends up being locked. We're not giving these people a chance to be part of this great thing that is RPing. So yeah, I don't know where I'm going with this, and now I'm just sort of babbling on. But I guess what I'm trying to say is, maybe we should consider these things in trying to share what we all love to do, RPing.
