Theoretically I am. In practice... it would take the right kind of RP. And no, I don't know what that would be.

The problem is PD has 2 count them 2 RPer. Ed and Quoorl. Unless you get everyone to pity RP or make it more acceptable for more people to participate then you have problems.
What do you mean more acceptable? All the RPs that I've done, I've allowed anyone to give it a try.... I don't think I've ever barred anyone from playing in anything I've done. I encourage even those that need...substantial help making good RP posts to play. Do you mean I should invent a MIND GUN and blast everyone with it with RP Desire Bullets? Cuz that's just gonna be pricey!
What I mean is I think people would appeciate more "short post" RPs. No offense to long complicated RPs but most people don't like typing 2 paragraphs for a single action. Just a though tough feel free to disregaurd it.
I agree with Kirbx there. I used to participate in an RP that was active during almost all of my old forums life, with members posting a short paragraph most of the time (there were the occasional two-three paragraphs one to jumpstart the story in some places of course). Again, no offense to the "long" RP'ers but you guys have had a fairly good go at the long ones, so maybe we should try something different.

I usually went with short (ish) posts. The problem with being too concise is that some detail will be lost and people can end up with quite different views of the same thing. The problems with being too long winded are that it takes way too long to read and that it makes me feel that you think I don't have an imagination.
I've got nothing against short paragraph style posts. I post longer stuff because RPing is really interactive storytelling and detail is important when you're telling a story. The problem I have with 'short post' rps is when you get a string of like six posts where:
Player A: I through a pokeball at the snorlax.
Player B: Gar'jin snuck up behind Arroyos, pulling his knife and prepared to strike.
Player C: Hmm Weird I Thought
Player A: I Got Snorlax!
Player B: The blade flicked across Aroyos's throat, creating a small necklace of blood that quickly spread.
Player A: I get some mroe SNorlaxes
Player C: what you guys doin?
See how these super short posts completely break up the narrative? I mean different posting styles are cool. I Enjoy playing with people who present things in a variety of ways, but when the posts are just too damn short to be clear.... it's like trying to rp in an old aol chatroom or something.... *shudder*
On the other hand, too much detail is like wading through the first half of The Fellowship of the Ring.
Allright... I won't be home till late tonight...play practice and MAYBE some IRL Rping.... but I'll post something either tonight or tomorrow. Got some ideas...the drive to create is immense. Hey Ninetails is on.. She should do something with this old RP section.
A bit of retail is good but the mulitple paragraphs tends to be a bit much.
So...no new posts in a while.
yeah... I'd really love to get on with this story and draw some new pics for it... but kinda waiting on the guys...

Kinda want to do something GREAT for 5k... what kind of RP would the majority of people around here be REALLY interested in... interested enough to actually be active... not just interested enough to make a profile. Give me your suggestions....
