speaking of things that arent much use, I think I'll try to get my crew to edit out all of those One LIne OOC posts in LoPD, any problems the OOC stuff needed to fix has been fixed and takin' em out will make the whole thing read better.... Now if I could just get everyone to stick to a tense.

I don't mind OOC posts, they're really fine. But it would be better to work in tandem with IC posts so the RP won't be choppy, but flowy, if you catch my drift. XD

Hrmm.. so Era of Acent, Risen Torch of Iodine, Rogrokkon, are they all just on indefinate hiatus or what? Nothing new's been posted, Heck Rogrokkon didn't even really start I just posted a bit so there'd be SOMETHING to show at the Olympics... heck it looks like MOST of the Olympic entries died out before they even got started... what's with you people... run some junk so we can have something to RP!

Era of Ascent- We need Xion to post, because Peeki, you and I have done about all within our capability, and we need his charrie to progress.

Iodine-Chrizz decided to be MEH and wait for Xion before starting. Not to mention he's inactive. We could have gotten so far by now.

Rogrokken- Not my business

Axis- Everyone's too lazy to post profiles

Geonicide- Ditto above

Emotive blackout- Ditto too

Magna Carta- Just started, waiting for profiles

Ahh I remember back in the day, when the forum had about 100 members. Me and Xion had an rp called "Pokemon RP....." that was probably the greatest thing ever invented. Then people came up with more creative names (naming things after stuff like Marilyn Manson albums). Now its just gotten ridiculous. What ever happen to "ok we are a bunch of pokemon trainers who have guns and swords and make up the rest' type RPs? Ahh Im just ranting please ignore me.

Bah The Olympics are over and so are the holidays but still RPing is going at a snail's pace. Things that used to have posts right and left have trickled into nothing. I'm wondering if I shouldn't bow out of one or more RPs and try to come up with my own. I'd need somethign ecxellent though, character driven, with plenty of room for both violent and non violent action. Maybe something with a bit o the Old West in it....

Well there's a lot going on right now... it's all jsut going slowly. Era of Ascent is really cool but frozen in time...Rogrokkon never even officially started I just started posting in there but got tired of only meeting NPCs...Nobody joined Monster Massacre as fun as it sounds so I'll be flying solo there apparently. Iodine League is also stagnant.... So if you've got something that'll really get people going... well, we need some life in this place!

I couldn't agree more, Qoorl! What I have understood in the RP board is that if there is

a) a commercialistic event; or
b) holidays,

the RP board will flourish! Though it's mostly 65% on the event. That and if one RPer is busy, then that breaks the synchronity of the rp and thus others will fall out. It's a very sad turn.

but it's a cycle. that's what's so great about it. if we can keep with our contributory posts which are very slow paced, it just might pick up. we just need to get off our lazy asses.

Hey Sultan of Role Playing, I'm sure he means well but could you cut all those "Dying" posts that Eon Spirit has been posting? They don't even have OOC tags on them. Me personally I don't mind OOC if it's pertinent but jsut random conversation and comments that have NOTHING to do with the Roleplay are really jarring and break the flow of the game.

Its different, they don't change, except for aging, and this is my First, lay off. Plus CL had a curse, not a chemical, and I've got two postholds. Don't kill the RP the same day it was made, and don't insult someone who just started to make RPs. You probably weren't mister awesome RP maker when you started, so please for goodness sakes. Lay off.

I actually was Mr. Awesome RP maker when I first started. Do you see the RP PokéWar Battlefront? The one that I made? That was my first RP, in cooperation with another member. My first individually created RP gathered 11 RPers, all of whom were above the average level.

You've seen one of CL's RPs. Only that one involves changing. The other ones are your standard Pokémorphs. And at least the change brings some originality to the over-done genre. And if you had the proper mental capabilities to read into my post, I said there was a mutation. I never specified what type of mutation or how it occurred. And besides, having chemicals only makes it more generic, so I don't see where you're going.

Now just suck less and rewrite the RP at a later time, when you actually know what you're doing.

Sigh, you know its not fair, I try something and get killed. This year is when I started Rping, and I finally deside that maybe I should try to be an RP maker. The first attempt dies. You've been Rping much longer than I have, and just made an RP, but you've had all this experience, so it makes sense that your RP would be good, I just started in October are, I still hve much to learn, and would like it if I was given chance before taking the flame.
