In my opinion, 9 barely inches out 7. I hate how everyone is biased toward 7's soundtrack because of the game itself. I really don't like One Winged Angel after seeing 1,000,000 AMV's with shitty animes. Not to mention it gets REALLY annoying. Now in 9, you have songs like Darkness of Eternity and the main theme, A Place to Call Home. Just a few of it's amazing songs

9's soundtrack was far superior. They go back to orchestrating a majority of the music or using more traditional instruments like guitars especially, where as 7 and the forgotten 8 were a majority of techno.

7 had the boss theme going for it, and i can't remember about anything else. It had a couple orchestrated songs, but not as many as 9 and a lot of 7's tracks didn't stand out to me. Where as 9's really give music to what's going on at the time and compliment it nicely.

Also the general idea of keeping it simple with guitars and piano's was great, and those songs were all very nice.

That's an obvious choice. Styx is by far the better band; especially in concert.

I'd probably take Rush over Styx because although styx is just immense, they don't give you as much variety in song composition as rush. And concert? Neil Peart would make a strong case as to why Rush is fantastic.

1. DRAGONFORCE

Dragonforce getting in over Rhapsody of Fire for guitar hero was an injustice, as it launched dragonforce's popularity to new levels just because of their media exposure.

Dragonforce is a fun band, but it's massively over rated
