High School is not important. Just pass with all D's, don't shoot for any higher - you are wasting your time. High school being important to your future is a myth and a fake concept. You will realize this eventually and the sooner the better. I am totally serious.

except for History class. I would have to attempt to do bad in that class to get lower than a high B.
Realizing this is a double edged sword though:
You don't worry about things as much. Much less stress.
But also going to school feels like the most useless and time wasting experience there is.
This is some of the most important academic advice you will ever recieve:
You can slack off in high school. Go to a Community college for RIDICULOUSLY cheap tuition comparatively. Do well there. In 2 years, transfer to a good University based on your college transcripts, which is all they will care about at that point. Then get the degree the prep school rich kid overachievers did with 8% of the work.

I have posted here for a majority of my high school career, and it has been more important than educational anything I have done or learned in high school.

In the six or so months I've been here I've learned more information that I will retain than I would have in two years of school.
Except for history class.
I have learned maybe about 2% of the things I know from school. And I know a lot of stuff.
But College does matter, just to get that straight. But college is much less lame so don't worry.
Yeah, it's just that my teacher yelled at me for my essay sucking.

Anyone who has made their fortune in an honest matter rather than inheriting it or getting hooked up with jobs by their rich parents with all their tuition to yale and prep schools payed for them will tell you that high school does not matter.

My local community college is pretty fucking awesome. They have this fireworks night/art festival/carnival/entertainment party every summer and it's awesome.
