Don't know how much of a chance Guiliani has of getting into a position where he can gain the nomination.

Guiliani is doing pretty horribly IMO
No ... he's considered many the favorite to win now ...
It doesn't look like GIuliani's strategy was going to work. He wanted to avoid the early states, then pick up huge is Super Tuesday(Fed. 5th when like 30 states have their primary on the same day), but if he isn't doing well in Florida, then he very well might not do well many places on the fifth. I really thought the strategy was going to work, because he's fucking Rudy Giuliani and could win most early states on name value alone, so if he was holding back I figured there must have been a damn good reason. Oh well, Giuliani sinks and McCain makes a miracle comeback, so at least we have someone good holding back fucking Mitt Romney.
Yeah like 28 states have their primary on the same exact day. Guiliani's big chance was with Florida because of the huge section of people who used to live in New York. If he can't pull together a massive victory there he's either going to try and ride it out or he very well may just drop out in the near future.
I heard that Tim. Romney and McCain are close I believe, so here's to hoping the McCain pulls ahead of him.
I would like to make a correction here. Considering the world population, this implies I think Ron Paul could do a better job as President than 5,320,977,646 people. This is not true. Just clearing that up.1,281,246,529. Ron Paul
I just have a question. How many people are running this time?
And by running I mean the people who acutally stand a chance to win.
Mitt Romney and John McCain for Republicans. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for Democrats.
Even though I'm a democrat, Mccain is the only good candidate. I don't like Hilary's idea for more free services, and I don't like Obama's healthcare plan bullshit.
Are you against universal healthcare or something?
Canada gives out free health care, lets TAKE OVER

Because he's white trash that is rich and doesn't feel like sharing

Universal Health Care could very well be great
I'm assuming Yojimbo is against Universal Healthcare for some ridiculous reason like the government shouldn't be giving handouts and people need to earn thing like healthcare. I sure hope Yojimbo isn't under his parents' health insurance if this is the case.
Universal Healthcare obviously sounds like a good idea, but I haven't looked into it a large amount. The only two questions I have concerning it would be:
- Where would the funds for all the healthcare costs to the state come from?
- Would the healthcare be circumstantial, and would it be partial coverage to a certain amount, or full cost coverage?
My healthcare plan would 100% cover immediate life-threatening conditions(say someone needs surgery right after a car accident) for everyone probably in the lower 70 percentile of income. It would cover an increasingly smaller percentage of costs as the percentile of income goes up.
For the bottom 30% or so it would probably 100% cover things like broken bones, continuous conditions like asthma etc, and prescriptions for such. The amount of coverage for this would decrease as income goes up. For doctors visits and prescriptions for things like colds it would probably cover a high percent for those of lower income, and would cover little to no of such costs for above the 50% of income.
No coverage at all for abortions, cosmetic surgery, etc.
Of course I don't have hundreds of advisors and knowledge of the complete federal budget, but this is the GENERAL IDEA.
Mhm, I thought that's what it would be like. Coverage for needed procedures and life-threatening cases. Partial for doctor's visits and such that certainly help along but aren't mandatory. No coverage for elective surgery or procedures, things like plastic surgery and the sort. Also dig the idea of it adjusting itself as the income percentile goes up, you would just have to be aware and put in place a system that would keep track of income and link such information to their insurance cards and company, to avoid people taking advantage of the healthcare situation.
Universal Health Care for America would be extremely beneficial, New Zealand's health care systems are funded by taxes. All public hospitals treat patients free of charge including lab tests and x-rays and free 24 hour emergency clinics, as well as other subsidised services. The government is also planning and drafting a Primary Health Care system. Problems with it, however, are people visiting public hospitals for minor ailments to avoid costs which has packed our emergency departments, and also has hiked up our taxes to astronomical rates. @__@
