I played. I always hated the fact that you needed Energies to attack, swap out, or have resistance to attacks :/
So whenever me and my little sister played, we played without using Energy cards. xD
You don't need energies for resistance. I still like to play the game, but there are very few opponents that I can find.
I found the game quite boring, i just collected them
then they got banned at my school, from then on i started to lose interest, i dont own any cards anymore.
Pokemon Games Played: Red/Blue/Yellow/Gold/Silver/Crystal/Ruby/FireRed/Pearl
same with my schools.. y they ban em
R.I.P. Kurt Cobain
Yes I'd play the game. We'd never use energy's though haha!

I play the game a couple of times a year. Full rules and everything.
Because of trade disputes and the fact cards got stolen often because of Pokemon's popularity. I was in sixth grade when the cards were first released over here in 1999 and they were banned within a few weeks at school.
I never played the actual card game, either. Only collected.
The Pikatwo Diaries ...
Ultimate Destiny: Ninetales 009 Adventures - an original and exciting Pokemon fan fiction, updated whenever-
TCG for the Gameboy for me. I schooled all those virtual wannabes.
I have a ton of cards but It's been a while since I've played anyone...
Banned or not two years ago those of us who didn't have to take the Aims tests played in a all against all type battle, in the heart of the school; the library. It was an unexpected challenge for a high school. (Why was it that all the good opponents had to graduate... oh well I guess it'll be my turn come May. ^-^)
Just a thought… by using a web cam one could battle over the internet.
Rules… I tried to follow them and for the most part I have no problem with them… I tend to have problems with the no energy rule, half my deck becomes useless. XD
Just curious did any of you make/ play long winded games using your cards?
Ex: During the summer I played with a friend that only came down when school was out. We made like trainers etc. and would train our cards… using the sleeves we added our own attacks and raised our Hp/ attack power in addition to adding the attacks from the previous forms. It would last weeks and the entire family room was covered in cards and other things, anyone else who saw it would think a bomb went off in there.![]()

I traded all my cards for Yu-gi-oh cards. Made more sense for an anime about card games to come out with cards, rather than an anime about traveling all over the land devloping relationships with creatures.
I didn't play as a kid personally. But now I have found the game very fun. I started collecting cards all over again. I've played two games so far with a friend. I'm trying to build a amazing deck.
When I was young, I found a Chinese Ancient Mew card (my only card in my very young youth). My parents encouraged me to walk and talk like the characters of Pokemon. Now with my over-obsession of Pokemon and collection, they just want me to sit down and shut up. They need to make up their mind.
See I am weird, which is normal for me. But being normal for me is weird, which I am normally. Meaning that technically I am normal because that is weird for me and I am weird. Get it?
I remember about not knowing how to play. Even in the games, I'd always get frustrated with picking a Pokemon. I didn't even know how to get out of the laboratory and I kept on restarting. Finally I figured it out and I had a shiny Totodile, but I thought the sparkles meant the game was glitched so I restarted AGAIN. D:

Elementry school was when I got my first pokemon game (red)!
And my first gameboy...
I somehow aquired a copy of the game, lent it to some kid I didn't really know on the bus, and he ended up losing it.
I then bullied him into getting me a new one and then giving me his gameboy for losing itHe had two though, so don't worry.
I have never played a TCG... I just don't understand them, and probably will never take the time to learn :/
I put no stock in religion. By the word religion I have seen the lunacy of fanatics of every denomination be called the will of god. I have seen too much religion in the eyes of too many murderers. Holiness is in right action, and courage on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves, and goodness. What God desires is here [points to head] and here [points to heart] and what you decide to do every day, you will be a good man - or not.
