    Both of them suck.
Why is it that America never has decent candidates running?

Because the only people that are ever running are the people that are only in it for the money.

Point? America establishes permanent military bases all over the place. Korea, Japan, Germany, Bosnia, etc etc. Why wouldn't we want to set up a permanent military base in Iraq? Being in Iraq for a hundred years doesn't mean fighting guerrilla insurgents for a hundred years.

WHAT A STUPID LIBERAL TALKING POINT THAT VIDEO IS.

    I knew that

But honest to god I don't want to see American troops in Iraq any longer. It's going to be even more of a quagmire if we stay

No it will be a quagmire if we leave and then there is a massive genocide which means the United Nations would be legally obligated to intervene, which they won't because the UN doesn't do anything, and then they would try to make the US send in troops and give them money all on their own. QUITE the quagmire, that!

Not that anyone needs Alaska, other than for oil. And it was pretty much a split down the middle. Which means Pennsylvania will probably have the biggest decision in who wins the primaries this year.

My first choice of candidate was Democrat Dennis Kucinich; his views seemed to align closely with mine. (i.e. - a universal healthcare plan, an increase taxes for the upper class, cracking down on employers who hire illegal immigrants, an immediate end to the war, etc.) Plus, he pushed to impeach Dick Cheney - who could argue with that? Unfortunately, he dropped out of the race.

Right now I think Obama and Clinton are both viable candidates; their views are not tremendously different. I'll back whichever one receives the nomination.

Kucinich was pretty terrible. Pretty much the left-wing version of Ron Paul. Except obviously less crazy because everyone in the world is less crazy than Ron Paul. This brings me to the point where people who say "Kucinich and Paul are the best" are fucking idiots. They are the two most opposite candidates in the race.

What were the exact final results? I usually use the morning news and newspapers in the Mailroom to keep up about this shit. But all of that stuff didn't tell me too much because not everything was counted.

Last I checked Clinton was leading Obama by 100 delegates, which is not bad at all for Obama. I was hearing things today about Obama actually having the lead on Clinton in delegates, but I'm pretty sure those people are stupid and confused delegates with states.

Well it's not GOOD, but it's not too bad. He could have done a lot worse. I don't think anyone in the world actually expected Obama to get the lead on Clinton with delegates.

Not sure how it is now, but this morning one of them was ahead by like 18 delegates, while McCain had over 200 more than any other republican.
