After reading the above article, do you believe that movies made as far back in the fucking 1940's should be censored nowadays because of low-toned racism?
Do kids really read deeply into cartoons? Enough so that hearing a Monkey singing about "I want to be like you" will make them vile racists?
Personally I think it's pretty ridiculous. I grew up on Disney and I assure you I don't believe all black people are jive talking crows. Nor do I believe anyone has the right to complain about it. It's pretty ignorant to expect a movie made in America 1940 when racism was an everyday thing, to not have racism in it. Its even more pathetic that some people would stop supporting and even go as far as hating Disney for something that when it was made was social acceptable.
