    I must agree with Ed...that's like asking a four year old how they can take Santa seriously...
    I put no stock in religion. By the word religion I have seen the lunacy of fanatics of every denomination be called the will of god. I have seen too much religion in the eyes of too many murderers. Holiness is in right action, and courage on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves, and goodness. What God desires is here [points to head] and here [points to heart] and what you decide to do every day, you will be a good man - or not.

    it has nothing to do with believing in christianity. it ha mores to do with taking catholicism seriously as a religion, when they have done things suck as bought their own country, and have their own bank will billions of dollars of profitable investments and most likely had dealings with nazi germany.

    It is not at all hard to get the big picture here Ed. Tim is remarking about how ridiculous it is for people in today's society to follow the Catholic church and take it as a legitimate belief based on its past actions. The question is more rhetorical than anything really.
