I must agree with Ed...that's like asking a four year old how they can take Santa seriously...

I don't believe it is that ridiculous a question, in fact it's rather valid. How can we reprehend such things as Norse or Celtic mythology for instance, as utterly implausible, when Catholicism is arguably no more believable? Christianity has indeed embedded itself firmly into society, with the Catholic community the largest of all religions. I often wonder what makes Catholicism so ample a religion.

They always hitch a ride with the most popular political group or nation of a time and ride that association to popularity in new areas. Then, once they have a firm base, they encourage rampant breeding, and their kids are all brainwashed into believing what they're told, and it keeps expanding until they're able to send ample amounts of missionaries out to other peaceful countries and brainwash the barely literate people there.

Honestly, that was pathetic.
