Yes 100x100 was a good size.
None of the other admins would care enough to change it, meaning it must have been Mewwy, meaning it needs to be this way to conserve server size til he gets a bigger one in April.

wei said the web site itself takes 20% of his server to run, and a forum takes a shit load so he needs to take care of it.

Increase the maximum dimensions to 100 x 100, but keep the file size at 19.5 KB. Besides pleasing a few members, it won’t make any noticeable difference. In fact, it would probably justify having your maximum file size at 19.5 KB.
I've found that you can't have animated avatars either. That narrows down the bandwidth as well.

Avatars are better than sigs, why not just disable pictures in them for the time being so we can have our avatars back?
This is a good idea. I hate sig images in my heart anyway.
