    No I really wish he was now he's all tactical and i noticed this...he was stronger when he was dumber i mean seriously smart ash together with smart brock and dumb dawn doesnt work out its better when the guys have no brains

    Pokemon used to be a competent show. Now it's just crap that the TV networks use to fill in spaces of time that other shows can't use.

    The games are infinitely better. Even the TCG is better than the show by a wide margin.

    I remember Pokemon being a lot better anime back in the day...I can't even force myself to watch it now. I'd rather watch PBS... that's just sad.

    That's true. Before, when faced with the choice between Digimon and Pokemon on TV, I would almost immediately choose Pokemon. Now, though, I would rather watch Digimon than Pokemon. BTW, Digimon's starting to make a comeback. Let's see how it works out for them.

    I miss oldschool Pokemon... especially the voice actors. And the plots were better. I quit watching the anime about two years ago.
