    Default Who should replace Ash as the main character?

    Personally, I would go with Paul/Shinji - It would be a fun twist.
    People admire and respect their superiors, are repulsed and disgusted by their inferiors, and connect to their equals.

    The extreme highs and lows in life get a strong reaction - Yet it the averages in life that most people connect to.

    The class system is nothing more then different groups of people grouping with their fellow equals and feeling the sense of separation from their superiors and inferiors.

    Not that they ever would but... I would say a Pikachu... XD
    What I mean by this is that they should make a PMD tangent using a Pikachu as the main character...

    I think President Bush should replace Ash! That would be the most awesome!!! And while we're ahead... I Love Lucy could be Pikachu, and somebody from some crime drama could be Brock! That would be the best!!! I can't wait to watch it!

    Yeah, I do anyways but not nearly as often as I used to...
    I would like to see them make a whole PMD series because it would be a nice change for a while from the badge hunting... so to speak.
