When I grow up, I am going to abolish something.
    Isn't that the best?

Absolutely! I think you should abolish America's right to start wars in the name of peace.

When I meant for today, I meant before logging off.

When I post it like that, it means the next time I log on is considered a new day of posting to me.

Nucky, you're 17. You ARE grown up. Stop waiting, start acting.

WHEN I WAS YOUR AGE... (heh love things that start out like this... here we go...)

I campaigned for Jesse White, made thousands of phone calls and had to deal with irrational christians against abortion because Secretary of State Jesse White was pro-abortion. What's it really matter if the secretary of state is pro-abortion? This I would like to know. It doesn't matter. The point is, you don't have to wait, you can influence life now.

I sometimes say "When I grow up..." but I typically refer to something that would be nearly impossible for me to do at this state of my life. So I mean sort of like "Next life I want to..." etc.

Maybe I am taking you too literally.

There's a thread in the debate forum on abortion. You should go read it.

I don't know why, but I have this odd feeling that I can't grow old or die. I can't wait to see if it's just a delusion, I'm 17 now, so I should be able to tell within the next 5-10 years.

I just can't picture me or people I know growing old. Sadly, it will happen eventually.

Aging might not be that bad. My grandad is (at a guess) 75, and until very recently he was pretty damn active. Strong too. I like my grandad

A lot of people have that feeling. I always thought I'd be dead before now, but somehow I am still kicking, and oddly I still want to. Didn't before.

A lot of my friends when I was 17-20 thought they would die young too. I've fallen out of touch and I don't know if they did. But I had that feeling and I didn't.

Yah, a tragic death to be remembered. Car crash would've done. Not suicide, but just not alive anymore. It's pretty common among teenagers. Or maybe I was emo.

You know, actually, lately, I've made a self-discovery. I am sort of emo. I really love sad music, and I enjoy being sad. Just like Three Days Grace says, I'd rather feel pain than nothing at all.

I'm mostly happy and I can't imagine dying now, I want to see my son grow up and be an emo teen. Heh.

That'll be fun. Like a chair to the shin. Really annoying when you're trying to fight someone and someone else kicks a chair into your shin.

My granddad just turned 81. He's still a strong fellow as well,
but his general health doesn't allow him to be active much,
not that he was the active type to begin with(, it isn't in his nature).

I'm going devise a way to keep my brain alive when I grow up,
and I mean alive, not just: there is more activity in it then with a dead one.

It's not eternal life, but it's far better than being stuck to this body as long as I live.

Ike, do you really like your friends enough to fight for them?
