Taking into consideration the current state of your home area, city, country, world, etc, Earth's leaders, the economic and ecological situation, and whatever else you can think of, what skills do you think will become most valuable?

People admire and respect their superiors, are repulsed and disgusted by their inferiors, and connect to their equals.
The extreme highs and lows in life get a strong reaction - Yet it the averages in life that most people connect to.
The class system is nothing more then different groups of people grouping with their fellow equals and feeling the sense of separation from their superiors and inferiors.

"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Being able to kill with blowdarts
Thats already a viable survival tactic in South America, so it doesn't count as FUTURE.
But you know it isn't really possible to kill something very large (IE: Jaguar) with a blow dart because the tip can't hold enough frog toxin to do much more than paralyze temporarily. The creature could metabolize the toxin most likely in a relatively short amount of time. So if your target is much larger than a baboon you have to hit it in a leg to incapacitate it so that you can kill it manually. Even just to incapacitate it you would have to kill like 4 frogs and get like every drip of toxin off every bit of skin.
In short, walk softly and carry a big stick, even if you have your blow darts in your ickle jungle.
Well I mean as a skill for everyone, not just south americans.
Pretty much everything I can do:
- Play instruments that will soon be in fashion like the synthesizer, and instruments that I will make in fashion, like the electric hammer dulcimer
- Be pretty competent with a scanner, as it will be in everyones home by the year 2011 when it becomes more marketable and the next major artists will be digital artists
- Programming at an intermediate level, not advanced as it won't be as hard in a while and intermediate will be the new 'absolute expert'
- Be pretty physically fit, as it will always be valuable.
My future is good.
