    It seems a lot like he is trying to equate communism to atheism, which would automatically nullify his point in my book.

    In any case Stalin doesn't count against atheism (correct me if I'm wrong I may well be) because he was not trying to spread atheism.

    I took a vicodin for the pain in my incision and I am feeling really trippy. Maybe I am totally misguided and not thinking clearly. Am I even making sense?

    well to be fair in a communist society religion would be obsolete, according to marx and lenin

    marx said something like "religion is the collective sigh of society"

    also stalin wasnt communist. he was just power hungry. communism is just an easy tool for a power hungry totalitarian(although so is free market capitalism hehe)

    at least to use communism to become a power-hungry totalitarian you have to do things like stage revolutions and fight

    in capitalism all you need to do to be a power-hungry totalitarian is be born to a really really rich family
