+ Introduction (IN-1) +

+###############################################################+

First off, the legal mumbo jumbo. This guide was made by me, Brian Walsh. No
site, besides GameFAQs.com, NeoSeeker.com, and SuperCheats.com, and
Pokedream.com has my permission to host this FAQ. This FAQ is not
intended for profit. Don't claim my work as your own. I think you all know
the drill, so I'll leave it at that.

Anyways, I'm one of those people who doesn't like to use TMs if I can help
it. Why? Because I never knew if I would be able to get the TM again. Of
course there are exceptions like Ice Beam that I knew I could get again, but
beyond the core group that I knew I could get over and over again, I did not
touch my TM case. And all was good, it wasn't as if I was going to be
battling anyone soon.

Of course then Diamond and Pearl were announced, which as we all know,
supports WiFi. My conserving TM plan was now in jeopardy. Yeah, I could chain
breed, but some attacks had to be put into the chain before they could be
bred. So I decided to compile a list of all the TMs I could get from the
Dept. Store in Lilycove and the Game Corner in Mauville on my Sapphire. Of
course there is that distinct possibility that I was missing something
(Slateport City), so I set up a list and then started raiding Serebii.

Now enough about me. This guide is intended to let people know which TMs they
can obtain after they've used them, without restarting their game(or cloning).
'Cause I'm pretty sure battling has become a lot more common, and people will
want to fix their teams when they see a weakness exploited. And weather teams
are a bit tricky to replace, unless they rely on Sand Stream. So if anyone is
like me, they'll look to see what TMs they can replace, to ensure that they
didn't waste a TM that could've been put too much better use.

These are TMs that can only be gotten once. If you want these moves on more
than one Pokémon, you will most likely have to chain breed. LightSpecter's

Pokémon Sapphire, Pearl, PC, XD ~ Gave me the easy TMs, like the ones
you get at Game Corners, Dept. Stores, Battle Tower, and Mt. Battle.

Serebii - http://www.serebii.net ~ Especially the Mew pages. They
list all the TMs and Move Tutors and give the descriptions you see on
this page for each. Also helped with the Emerald and PBR information.

Bulbapedia - http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Main_Page ~ Gave me
the Pick-Up percentages.

--------
/Thanks\
--------
Blizzard120 - For preliminary checking, review, and gave the idea of 1
time only TMs.
Sharpedo22 - Reviewing and gave the idea for the XD elemental hyper beams.
SubonicXP - Reviewing
OracleLink - Informed me of the weather TMs and informed me of a couple
mistakes that I overlooked.
Pikachallenge - Informed me that the girl on top of the Celedon Dept. Store
can only drink so much, as well as the XD Johto starters only being available
once.
0aoshi0 - Informed me of a mistake I overlooked.
LightSPecter - Made a guide that makes the one time only TMs somewhat
reobtainable.

Serebii and Bulbapedia - Couldn't have done it without your expert advice.

Nintendo - For so many hours spent on one little cheese-it sized game
cartridge.

And of course, the rest of you. No point in making a guide if no one reads it.
