Pokemon Diamond/Pearl - Reobtainable TMs FAQ
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ | | | Reobtainable TMs | | (And Move Tutors) | | | | An FAQ by Brian Walsh | | | |_______________________________________________________________| +###############################################################+ + + + Table of Contents (TC-1) + + + +###############################################################+ -Table of Contents TC-1 -Intro IN-1 -Glossary GL-1 -TM FAQ TM-0 -TMs TM-1 -Move Tutors MT-1 -1 time only TM-2 -Sources/Thanks ST-1 -Contact CT-1 +###############################################################+ + + + Introduction (IN-1) + + + +###############################################################+ First off, the legal mumbo jumbo. This guide was made by me, Brian Walsh. No site, besides GameFAQs.com, NeoSeeker.com, and SuperCheats.com, and Pokedream.com has my permission to host this FAQ. This FAQ is not intended for profit. Don't claim my work as your own. I think you all know the drill, so I'll leave it at that. Anyways, I'm one of those people who doesn't like to use TMs if I can help it. Why? Because I never knew if I would be able to get the TM again. Of course there are exceptions like Ice Beam that I knew I could get again, but beyond the core group that I knew I could get over and over again, I did not touch my TM case. And all was good, it wasn't as if I was going to be battling anyone soon. Of course then Diamond and Pearl were announced, which as we all know, supports WiFi. My conserving TM plan was now in jeopardy. Yeah, I could chain breed, but some attacks had to be put into the chain before they could be bred. So I decided to compile a list of all the TMs I could get from the Dept. Store in Lilycove and the Game Corner in Mauville on my Sapphire. Of course there is that distinct possibility that I was missing something (Slateport City), so I set up a list and then started raiding Serebii. Now enough about me. This guide is intended to let people know which TMs they can obtain after they've used them, without restarting their game(or cloning). 'Cause I'm pretty sure battling has become a lot more common, and people will want to fix their teams when they see a weakness exploited. And weather teams are a bit tricky to replace, unless they rely on Sand Stream. So if anyone is like me, they'll look to see what TMs they can replace, to ensure that they didn't waste a TM that could've been put too much better use. +###############################################################+ + + + Glossary (GL-1) + + + +###############################################################+ Games: Generation Region System R/B/Y = Red/Blue/Yellow 1st Kanto Game Boy PS = Pokémon Stadium 1st N/A Nintendo 64 G/S/C = Gold/Silver/Crystal 2nd Johto Game Boy (Color) PS2 = Pokémon Stadium2 2nd N/A Nintendo 64 R/S = Ruby/Saphire 3rd Hoenn Game Boy Advance PC = Pokémon Colloseum 3rd Orre GameCube FR/LG = FireRed/LeafGreen 3rd Kanto Game Boy Advance XD = Gales of Darkness 3rd Orre GameCube E = Emerald 3rd Hoenn Game Boy Advance D/P = Diamond/Pearl 4th Sinnoh Nintendo DS PBR = Pokémon Battle Revolution 4th N/A Wii Types: 1st - 3rd Gen Stat Normal = NRM P Fire = FRE S Water = WAT S Electric = ELE S Grass = GRS S Ice = ICE S Fighting = FTG P Poison = PSN P Ground = GRD P Flying = FLY P Psychic = PSY S Bug = BUG P Rock = RCK P Ghost = GST P Dragon = DGN S Dark = DRK S Steel = STL P ??? = ??? LightSPecter - Made a guide that makes the one time only TMs somewhat reobtainable. Serebii and Bulbapedia - Couldn't have done it without your expert advice. Nintendo - For so many hours spent on one little cheese-it sized game cartridge. And of course, the rest of you.
