Pokemon Emerald - Preview
Pokemon Emerald is the third version of Ruby and Sapphire, with Rayquaza being the main legend. This is like Crystal for Gold and Silver, and Yellow for
Red and Blue. Consequently, mostly everything is the same, with a few differences that are listed below.
In Pokemon Emerald, you are still either Brendan or May, except in different (green) clothes. You still travel in the region of Hoenn, except a few places are modified. This time, you'll encounter both Team Magma and Aqua, and will meet both Groudon and Kyogre. Two gym leaders have been changed, and the Champion of the Pokemon League is now Wally. This game also contains a new section of land called the Battle Frontier, featuring seven different places to battle in different styles. Battle animations are back too from Pokemon Crystal! In additional, in Pokemon Emerald, you'll find new legendary Pokemon -- Mew, Deoxys (Speed form), Lugia, and Ho-oh. On top of that, Pokemon Emerald supports the Wireless Adaptor, allowing you to trade and battle Pokemon wirelessly..
Here a list of all the new things Pokemon Emerald has to offer when compared to Ruby and Sapphire:
