Gold/Silver/Crystal Walkthrough - Cerulean City/Lavendar Town
Seven Trainers
You'll find out that Misty's gym is empty. So now take the path north across Nugget Bridge. You will encounter seven trainers who promises a prize. After beating them all, you'll recieve a Nugget from Cooltrainer Kevin.
Oooo!
Continue on after Sea Cottage (Bill's House), and you'll
find Misty with her boyfriend. She'll call you a pest, and run off to her gym after you see her.
The Watery Gym
Now go to the Cerulean Gym, where you'll find some swimming
trainers, and Misty, the gym leader. She has a Quagsire, Wooper's evolution.
Electric attacks won't work on this Pokemon, since it is a ground-type too. So a grass-type would be the best
selection for this gym battle.
You'll get $4,700 and the Cascade Badge from Misty after you beat her. Now let's go on to Lavendar Town!
Something In The Water
Surf to the place where the Cerulean Cave had stood. You'll find Berserk Gene. It raises attack, but confuses your Pokemon.
Cleanse Tag
When you're going south from Cerulean City to Lavender Town, stop by the house that is at the bottom of a bunch of ledges. Talk to the old lady inside and she'll give you a Cleanse Tag. It'll help keep wild Pokemon from attacking you.
Lavendar Town's Pokemon Tower has been changed to a Radio Tower (what happened to all the ghosts?). Once in there, talk to the gentleman facing the wall. He'll give you an Expn Card for thanking you for giving power back to the Power Plant. The Expn Card allows you to tune your Radio to all radio stations in Kanto.
Name Rater & Super Rod
You can still find the Name Rater in Lavendar Town like in R/B/Y.
Before you leave, head south of Lavendar Town and you'll find the Fishing Guru's house. Answer yes to his question, and he'll give you a Super Rod.
Go down a little more, and you'll find an itemball with a Nugget inside.
